General Information - FAQ

I am a senior living in Toronto and want information about services for seniors and how to contact them. Where should I look?

If you know the name of a service, you can of course look it up in your phone book. However, if you don't know the name of a service, but you want to know what transportation or home care services there may be and you have access to the internet, a good place to start is the 211Toronto website . At this website you can search under a general heading such as "transportation" for a list of all transportation services, a description of each, and how to contact them. You can also search under "SENIORS - Services" which lists nearly 700 services by name, describes what they do, and tells you how to contact each. There are also listings of seniors apartments and long-term care facilities under the heading "SENIORS".
