This website discusses the differences between long-term care facilities and retirement homes and supportive housing. A list of retirement homes and homes with supportive housing programs may be obtained from your local Community Care Access Centre (CCAC). Information on how to contact your local CCAC may be obtained from the "CCAC Locator" found on the Ministry's website.
